A E Evans gains FSC accreditation

We are delighted to inform you that as from this month AE Evans Ltd are FSC accredited.
AE Evans Ltd sources material from either FSC certified sources or Controlled Wood Sources. Controlled Wood sources comply with FSC-STD-40-005: Standard for Company Evaluation of FSC Controlled Wood.
We are therefore able to offer customers who have a specific requirement for FSC material for Chain of Custody purposes, our timber product range with an FSC Mixed claim to accompany the product that carries the FSC label.
For customers who do not have a Chain of Custody requirement, we are happy to supply material with an FSC Controlled Wood claim to give the customer the confidence that wood has been sourced according to the FSC principles of responsible forestry.
We wish to emphasize that we have chosen a mixed supply basis in order to maintain the loyalty with those raw material suppliers who have served us well in the past and continue to operate within the UK Woodland Assurance Standard but have not entered into FSC certification.
We trust that this new development will be another benefit for customers who choose AE Evans Ltd as their timber supplier.
